PROJECT OVERVIEWPROMO WEBSITE

Highway — a retail chain's summer promo website with a travel game and a gift shop for game points

From early May to early June, purchases of 500 ₽ or more or with a partner product in the chain's stores and its app were registered on the site as receipts. Receipts entered the draw for a car and weekly draws of more than 50 prizes — an e-bike, a speaker, a smart backpack, a car fridge, certificates and loyalty programme points. Alongside ran a travel game across a map of home places: it earned points that were exchanged for gifts in the site's shop.

The challenge

Build the promo website from a ready design on the shared base of the chain's campaigns: the home page with the mechanics, prizes, the game entry, the gift shop and partner products, sign-in by phone number, receipt registration, an account with receipts, prizes, the gift shop and a prize claim form, and the game and winners pages.

What the solution includes

  • Sign-in by the phone number of the chain's single customer account: confirmation with the last four digits of an incoming call's number, a repeat request with a countdown, and accepting the rules after sign-in.
  • The travel game is a separate build in a frame on a page of its own: the game gets the participant's token, and on its messages the site returns to the home page or opens the account to exchange points.
  • The gift shop for game points: the price in points, the stock left, a progress bar, ordering with a size choice; on phones, a slider with a two-row grid.
  • The mechanics in four tabs with a way into the game, prizes in tabs — weekly and the main one, partner products.
  • The account: the receipt history with statuses, the participant's prizes, the gift shop and a prize claim form choosing a pickup point in a store by region, city and address from the list of points.
  • Receipt registration: a QR code through the camera, manual entry or photos; winners with a search by phone, FAQ, a responsive layout.

A commercial team project: I built the whole frontend from a ready design; the game is a separate build by another developer. Screenshots are from a local build with test data; the chain's logos, the car make and the logos on prizes are hidden, and partner products are not shown.
